In response to the decision by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (Commission or FCC) earlier this month to revoke the authority that had previously been granted to China Unicom (Americas) (CUA) to operate certain telecom services in the United States, CUA has now requested that the FCC stay its order revoking CUA's Section 214 authorizations "pending a final order on appeal."
