As part of the trade war with China, the Trump administration has raised tariffs on products that Chinese companies had been selling direct to consumers tariff-free through the "de minimis exemption." Through the deal reached earlier this week, those duties have been brought down a bit, but remain high enough to have a significant impact on trade.
