One day after the U.S. Court of International Trade found all of the Trump administration's tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to be illegal, a second court issued a ruling that had the same effect but went even further in its reasoning, finding that tariffs are not allowed under the statute. As with the first ruling, the Trump administration has appealed.
