In a letter sent earlier this week, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) raised several questions with Ford CEO Jim Farley about the company's partnership with a Chinese company, and warned that as a result of the automaker’s use of electric vehicle tax credits in the Inflation Reduction Act, "[t]axpayer dollars may be getting funneled to a Chinese company and potential 'foreign entity of concern' through its partnership with Ford."
