On May 15 and 16 in France, the United States and the European Union held their second round of ministerial meetings as part of the Trade and Technology Council (TTC), to "advance Transatlantic cooperation and democratic approaches to trade, technology, and security that deliver for people on both sides of the Atlantic." The TTC addresses a broad range of issues, but competition with and concerns about China are clearly motivating factors.
