United States

Federal Register notice of ITA determination on Chlorinated Isocyanurates From the People's Republic of China: Final Determination of No Shipments; 2019-2020 Administrative Review (July 9, 2021):

"The Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that Heze Huayi Chemical Co., Ltd. (Heze Huayi) and Juancheng Kangtai Chemical Co., Ltd. (Kangtai) did not have any shipments of subject merchandise during the period of review (POR) June 1, 2019, through May 31, 2020."


Federal Register notice of ITC determination on Walk-Behind Lawn Mowers From China and Vietnam (July 9, 2021):

"On the basis of the record developed in the subject investigations, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that an industry in the United States is materially injured by reason of imports of walk-behind lawn mowers from China found by the U.S. Department of Commerce (“Commerce”) to be sold in the United States at less than fair value (“LTFV”) and to be subsidized by the government of China, and threatened with material injury by reason of imports of walk-behind lawn mowers from Vietnam found by Commerce to be sold at LTFV, provided for in subheading 8433.11.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States."


Federal Register notice of ITA determination on Certain Steel Wheels (12-16.5 Inches Diameter) From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results of Countervailing Duty Administrative Review, Rescission in Part, and Intent To Rescind in Part; 2019 (July 9, 2021):

"The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of certain steel wheels (12-16.5 inches diameter) (certain steel wheels) from the People's Republic of China (China) during the February 25, 2019, through December 31, 2019, period of review (POR). Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results."

Federal Register notice of ITA determination on Magnesium Metal From the People's Republic of China: Final Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review; 2019-2020 (July 9, 2021):

"The Department of Commerce (Commerce) continues to find that Tianjin Magnesium International, Co., Ltd. (TMI) and Tianjin Magnesium Metal, Co., Ltd. (TMM) had no shipments of subject merchandise covered by the antidumping duty order on magnesium metal from the People's Republic of China (China) for the period of review (POR) April 1, 2019, through May 31, 2020."


Federal Register notice of ITA determination on Melamine From the People's Republic of China: Continuation of Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Orders (July 9, 2021):

"The Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the International Trade Commission (ITC) have determined that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on melamine from the People's Republic of China (China) would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping, net countervailable subsidies, and material injury to an industry in the United States."


Federal Register notice of ITA determination on Tapered Roller Bearings and Parts Thereof, Finished and Unfinished, From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results and Intent To Rescind the Review, in Part; 2019-2020 (July 8, 2021):

"The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that certain companies under review sold tapered roller bearings and parts thereof, finished and unfinished, (TRBs) from the People's Republic of China (China) at less than normal value (NV) during the period of review (POR), June 1, 2019, through May 31, 2020. Additionally, we preliminarily determine that certain companies did not make a bona fide sale of TRBs from China during the POR and preliminary intend to rescind the review with respect to these companies. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results."

Federal Register notice of ITA determination on Certain Aluminum Foil From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review, Partial Rescission of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review, and Preliminary Determination of No Shipments; 2019-2020 (July 7, 2021):

"The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily finds that exporters of certain aluminum foil (aluminum foil) from the People's Republic of China (China) sold subject merchandise in the United States at prices below normal value during the period of review (POR) April 1, 2019, through March 31, 2020. Additionally, Commerce is rescinding this review with respect to multiple companies."

Federal Register notice of ITC determination on Potassium Phosphate Salts From China (July 7, 2021):

"the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the countervailing duty order and antidumping duty order on potassium phosphate salts from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to U.S. industries producing dipotassium phosphate and tetrapotassium pyrophosphate within a reasonably foreseeable time."


Federal Register notice of ITA determination on Polyethylene Retail Carrier Bags (July 6, 2021):

"the Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) orders on polyethylene retail carrier bags from Indonesia, Malaysia, the People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping as indicated in the “Final Results of Sunset Review” section of this notice."


Federal Register notice of ITC determination on Melamime from China (July 6, 2021):

"On the basis of the record developed in the subject five-year reviews, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the countervailing duty and antidumping duty orders on melamine from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time."

European Union

Notice of initiation of an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures applicable to imports of silicon originating in the People’s Republic of China (July 2, 2021)

The executive summary of the request for review can be downloaded here. The product covered by the request is "silicon produced in electric submerged arc furnaces with carbothermic reduction of quartz (silica) in the presence of various types of carbon reductants."
