Beijing Calls for Stronger WTO Role Amid Global Trade Tensions in Meeting with WTO DG

During a meeting with WTO Director-General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala yesterday, China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao called for the World Trade Organization to strengthen its oversight of unilateral tariffs and accelerate reforms.
