Last week, Canadian Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne visited China to "meet with government and business leaders" and "build strategic partnerships and attract new investments as part of Canada’s broader diversification imperative." He was "joined by the Governor of the Bank of Canada, Tiff Macklem, the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, Peter Routledge, and Canadian businesses and financial institutions."
