A Chinese company's plan to build a corn-milling plant in North Dakota was reviewed by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) due to national security concerns. CFIUS determined earlier this week that the transaction was not covered by the terms of the statute, and the investment can now move forward.
