The China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA) issued a statement in response to a reported agreement between the governments of the United States, Japan and the Netherlands, and called for global defense of "the globalization of the semiconductor industry" and urged the Chinese government to provide a better "global semiconductor industry ecology." The domestic industry has been hurting in terms of both output and exports in recent months.
