Officials of China's General Administration of Customs (GACC) said last month that in 2022, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports exceeded 2 trillion yuan for the first time, an increase of 7.1% over 2021. Its continued expansion may face headwinds as the United States is applying more scrutiny of Chinese e-commerce giants.
