China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) reported a 66% rise in its international workload over the last five years, a dramatic increase in the judiciary's international workload over the 14th Five-Year Plan period. In its annual work report, it emphasized a "dual-track" strategy: aggressively applying anti-foreign sanction laws to shield Chinese firms from overseas "long-arm jurisdiction" while maintaining a commitment to WTO-aligned protections for foreign investors who comply with local market rules.
