At an event held by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) yesterday, the two leaders of the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party, Chairman Mike Gallagher (R-WI) and Ranking Member Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), spoke with CFR President Mike Froman about issues such as their view of China's role in the world economy, the new "equilibrium" for the China-U.S. economic relationship, and U.S. outbound investment restrictions.
