In a letter sent last week, Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL), Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) and 41 other members of Congress called on Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai to urge the General Administration of Customs China (GACC) to engage with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal Plant and Health Inspection Service (APHIS), and to honor a 2020 trade agreement by restoring market access to states who were following agreed upon Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza protocols.
