Earlier this week, trade ministers of China and Japan met on the sideline of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in San Francisco, when they agreed on a dialogue mechanism for export controls and a working group to improve business environment. China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said that the new mechanisms will "promote trade and investment cooperation between the two nations."
