On March 1, China's MOFCOM announced that it would launch an anti-dumping investigation on phthalocyanine originating from India.

At the October 27 meeting of the WTO's Committee on Anti-Dumping Practices, a number of issues related to trade remedies against China and trade remedies taken by China were discussed.

As we reported here, on September 27, 2021 the WTO established a panel to hear a dispute over China's anti-dumping (AD) duties on stainless steel products from Japan (DS601). Today, the WTO announced that the panel in the case was composed on January 24 by the WTO Director-General.

On January 6, China's Ministry of Commerce issued its final anti-dumping and countervailing duty rulings on polyphenylene ether / polyphenylene oxide originating from the United States. In these final rulings, the anti-dumping duties remained about the same as in the preliminary ruling, but the countervailing duties fell considerably and

China's trade remedy bureau recently announced that it would start an expiry review of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on U.S. distiller's dried grains with or without solubles (DDGs), which had reached the end of their original period.

On January 10, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) finalized its anti-dumping and subsidy investigations of certain U.S. chemical products, and determined the duties to be applied to imports.

China’s Ministry of Commerce recently notified that three anti-dumping and countervailing measures are about to expire in the second half of this year. Unless the domestic industry or the agency initiates an expiry review, the measures will be terminated.
