At the APEC CEO Summit today in Thailand, Chinese President Xi Jinping highlighted the importance of peace, openness and inclusiveness as a way for countries to grow. He will be countered tomorrow by a message carried by U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris: "there is no better partner for the economies and companies of the Indo-Pacific than the United States of America."
