Last week, Beijing issued a notice officially characterizing the cross-border aspects of the European Union's investigation in its Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) probe into Nuctech as an "unjust extraterritorial application of foreign law" and strictly prohibiting compliance with the European Commission's requests.
